When you take out an Experience Membership, you’ve got a whole twelve months to enjoy (and endure) everything we have to offer at BarrUltra. However, if you’d rather work more intensively over a shorter period to smash your ambitious goal quicker, that’s fine with us. The Experience Membership is exactly that – all about defining YOUR experience.
This option is only for the truly ambitious.
It’s for those with their gaze set firmly on a goal.
It’s for those who have a particular event, challenge or start line in mind, and know that they need to be supported by the best possible team to achieve it.
As the membership is designed to be promotional as well as personal, part of the package allows you to have your logo or message of your choice prominently placed across multiple elements of the BarrUltra brand. Think social media, visual representation in all of Joe’s races in that year, and even Joe’s bum (on his racing kit, for clarity!) In other words, if you’ve got a business, charity, or personal venture to promote, the Experience Membership is the place to do it.
The Experience Membership is all about giving you every access to the shortcuts, safety nets, and support necessary to help you be successful in your mission. Joe and the whole team are with you – every revolution of the way. Money well spent for a once in a lifetime ultra-cycling experience.
Don’t be fooled by the word “shortcuts”, by the way. You’ll be cycling every mile, of that you can be certain!

Cost of your racing kit
At BarrUltra, we give back to our community by providing scholarship opportunities for the next generation of ultra-cyclists.
Understandably, we have to limit these opportunities to just two or three per year. Applications are always open, but once the spots are taken for a twelve month period, they’re taken! We personally follow up every application with a phone call, so please do get in touch.
All we ask from our successful scholars is that you pay the cost of your racing kit. That’s it. All the other benefits of our hugely popular Racing Membership are yours to enjoy for the year that you’re with us.
